We are a community of higher education workers committed to embedding trauma-informed and trauma-responsive approaches to education in university policy, practice, and research.

Our aims

The TIA-HE Network aims to provide a collaborative space where members can exchange ideas, experiences, and strategies related to trauma-informed practice.

We aim to provide a safe, supportive and stimulating environment for those interested in, or working on, trauma-informed approaches to higher education. 

The Network is designed to support connection, collaboration and meaningful contributions through research, awareness-raising, training, and innovation.

The Network hopes to have a positive collective impact on the lives of staff and students who have experienced trauma so that higher education can be a space for post-traumatic growth.
