Meet the committee

Sarah Donkin

Kevin Hainsworth, Post Graduate Representative

Kevin holds a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management and has over ten years of experience supporting the disabled community during his time working in the private, public, and charitable sectors, which is reflected by his Assoc. CIPD status and CMI Level 5 qualifications and certification in mental health awareness. It was these profound interactions that inspired his return to academia in which he was awarded an MSc in Business Management and Consultancy before transitioning to doctoral research that explored the experiences and perspectives of academic and professional staff in relation to students with mental health disabilities and academic support provisions. In conjunction with his PhD (in the preparation stage, with the final examination scheduled for June 2026), he submitted a portfolio of work and has recently obtained Higher Education: Associate Fellow accreditation (AFHEA). As the Early Career Research (ECR) Representative, he is ideally placed to cultivate dialogue, foster opportunities, and address challenges whilst his previous experiences will ensure fair representation and inclusivity for all demographics and backgrounds.
